Required Documents

To participate in an AZ Places camping trip or event, the following are required:

• Valid Identification (for participants 18 and older): Accepted forms include a passport, driver’s license, state ID, or school ID.

• Proof of Health Insurance: Required for all participants.

• Signed Safety Waiver: Must be completed before participation.

Promotional Photography

AZ Places reserves the right to take photographs and video during any trip or event for promotional purposes. By booking, participants agree to the use of their digital media, unless they specify otherwise in writing.

Drug Use and Smoking/Vaping Policy

• Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate trip termination.

• Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside or around AZ Places tents.

• A $300 cleaning fee will be charged if evidence of smoking or vaping is found inside tents.

• Smoking and vaping of any kind (including cigarettes and recreational substances) must be done outdoors in compliance with local laws.

Service Fees & Taxes

• AZ Places covers the 2.5% service fee for bookings.

• A 3.5% tax will be added to your order.

Third-Party Fees

Some locations may have additional fees, which are not included in the trip price. These may include:

• Entrance fees (e.g., national parks, state parks)

• Campsite reservation fees

• Equipment & Add-Ons

Certain gear and services are available for an additional fee.

• Details can be found on our Equipment, Foodstuff, and Activities pages.

• After booking, log in to your account to select Add-Ons.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Rescheduling may incur additional costs.

• Our trips operate rain or shine, provided roads and camping conditions remain safe. In the event of severe weather, AZ Places reserves the right to alter or cancel any trip or event.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 30 days or more before the trip will receive a full refund, excluding the deposit and service fee.

• Cancellations made 21–30 days before the trip will receive a 50% refund.

• Cancellations made 20 days or fewer before the trip are non-refundable.

• AZ Places reserves the right to cancel any trip at any time, in which case a full refund will be provided.

Travel Costs

AZ Places is not responsible for any travel-related expenses, including:

• Hotel and airfare

• Third-party fees such as campsite reservations
