Possibly. Tent sharing may be part of the experience depending on group size and availability. AZ Places provides tents ranging from 1-person to 8-person sizes, offering many options to suit your needs. If you have specific preferences or concerns, please communicate them in advance with AZ Places to see what options are available.

Camp Facilities & Amenities
Cell service varies by location and is often limited or unavailable. If service is important, a short drive to a nearby area usually allows for making calls. Wi-Fi is not provided.
AZ Places encourages guests to disconnect from technology and immerse themselves in nature, enjoying the sights, sounds, and experiences of the outdoors. This is a great opportunity to relax, recharge, and connect with the natural environment and your group.
Restroom availability depends on the location. Some sites may have vault or pit toilets, but most AZ Places trips take place in undeveloped or primitive sites. In these cases, we provide a portable bathroom setup using a composting toilet. Learn more about how to use it here: How to Use a Composting Toilet.(https://www.azplaces.com/how-to-use-compost-toilet)
For guests who are comfortable with backcountry practices, nature bathroom options are also possible. Here’s a fun video about “going in the forest”(https://youtu.be/m8BVOe9C-Ho) for a lighthearted perspective.
AZ Places aims to minimize waste at camp by avoiding disposable products whenever possible. Guests help with washing dishes and cleaning up, rather than using single-use items.
Trash & Recycling:
• Recycling and trash bins are provided at camp and secured at night to prevent wildlife, including critters and bears, from accessing food or trash.
• AZ Places collects and disposes of all trash after the trip.
• A compost bin may be provided for food scraps when available.
Gray Water: Dish and sink water should be disposed of away from the main campsite to keep the area clean and minimize environmental impact.

AZ Places provides tents for sleeping, along with a large 10-person tent that may be used as a weather shelter or activity tent when needed. We also provide communal shade shelters, including a Clam shelter, accommodating up to 10 people, for shared use at camp.
These spaces offer protection from sun, wind, and light weather and create comfortable areas for activities and relaxing together.
Guests are welcome to bring personal shade items or comfort gear if desired, but all essential shelter and communal shade are provided.
AZ Places provides wash water and cooking water at camp and aims to supply drinking water for all guests. We also provide a water cooler with refreshing cold water for shared use.
However, because water is heavy and availability can vary by location, guests are required to bring their own drinking water to ensure there is always enough for everyone.
What to bring:
• A refillable water bottle (one per participant)
• Two gallons of drinking water per person
Guests are encouraged to conserve water at camp to support group needs and minimize environmental impact.
AZ Places provides a hand-washing station, hand sanitizer, and wet wipes to support basic hygiene needs at camp. For most shorter trips, guests typically rely on hand washing or sponge baths.
A shower tent with on-demand hot water may be available by request and for an additional fee, which can be selected during booking when offered.
Guests should plan to bring their own personal hygiene supplies, such as toiletries, towels, and any comfort items they prefer.
