INSTRUCTIONS


Gather and Prepare toppings

  • Shred the cheese if needed

  • Chop scallions

  • Crush the corn chips


Cook Hot Dogs (Griddle or Grill)

  • Place hot dogs on the preheated griddle or grill.

  • Turn frequently with tongs, cooking until heated through and lightly browned (about 6–8 minutes).

  • Optional: Toast buns by placing them cut-side down on the griddle for 1–2 minutes.


Heat Chili

  • Pour canned chili into a saucepan.

  • Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through (5–8 minutes).


Assemble Hot Dogs

  • Place each hot dog in a bun.

  • Top with heated chili, shredded cheese, crushed corn chips, and chopped scallions.

  • Optionally top with ketchup and mustard.


SERVE with a side of coleslaw and a seasonal fruit.
