Hot Dogs

Hot Dogs served on a bun with chili, shredded cheddar cheese, crushed corn chips, and chopped scallions with a side of coleslaw and seasonal fruit.
INGREDIENTS
Hot Dogs
Buns
Canned chili
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Corn chips, crushed
Scallions, chopped
Ketchup and mustard
Sides: coleslaw and seasonal fruit
INSTRUCTIONS
Gather and Prepare toppings
Shred the cheese if needed
Chop scallions
Crush the corn chips
Cook Hot Dogs (Griddle or Grill)
Place hot dogs on the preheated griddle or grill.
Turn frequently with tongs, cooking until heated through and lightly browned (about 6–8 minutes).
Optional: Toast buns by placing them cut-side down on the griddle for 1–2 minutes.
Heat Chili
Pour canned chili into a saucepan.
Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through (5–8 minutes).
Assemble Hot Dogs
Place each hot dog in a bun.
Top with heated chili, shredded cheese, crushed corn chips, and chopped scallions.
Optionally top with ketchup and mustard.
SERVE with a side of coleslaw and a seasonal fruit.
